Marcia Stuart's Cabbage Patch Stew
Cabbage Patch Stew
Ingredients:
1 medium union
1 lb. ground beef ( 1 to 2 lbs)
2 C. tomato juice
2 C. cabbage, shredded
2 tsp. chilli powder
1 TBS Worcestershire sauce (optional)
seasoning salt to taste
1 (16 oz) can large kidney beans
not drained
Brown meat, drain of fat.
Add onion, cabbage, tomato juice, and seasoning salt.
Cook 15 minutes on low heat.
Add all ingredients.
Stir and simmer until done; cabbage and onion will be transparent.
